Mini Wreath Ornament Kit
Everything provided in this kit allows you to make (1) mini grapevine wreath ornament!
Your kit may look slightly different from the pictures, such as slight different size of flowers.
What's in your kit:
- (1) 4” Grapevine Wreath
- (2) Pine, berry, and pinecone picks
- (1) Small wood flower
- (1) Twine String
What you'll need:
- Hot Glue Gun with Glue
- Plate or Mat to Place Glue Gun
- Your Imagination
Optional: Parental guidance to help with glue gun
Approximate time to make: 5 minutes
Step 1: Prepare Your Tools and Supplies Plug in your glue gun and lay out your supplies. Decide where to place your greenery picks and flower while your glue gun is warming up - we recommend along the bottom or offset to one side. If choosing to one side, you may need to tie the twine a little differently to counter the weight. |
|
Step 2: Glue on Your Greenery Picks We recommend you glue one side first and let it dry so that you can gauge the distance between the picks with the flower before gluing the other pick in. Feel free to weave/stick the end of the pick into the wreath. Make sure to wait until the glue is dry on the second pick before moving to the next step. |
|
Step 3: Glue on Your Flower Glue on the flower by either putting glue on the wreath itself or on the back of the flower. Place the flower on the wreath between the two picks, covering the ends of the picks. Be careful not to press down on the flower too hard as it may squish or break a petal. If you squish your flower, know that you can spray it with water to reshape and fluff the flower out once the glue has dried! |
|
Step 4: Tie on Your Twine Cut twine to desired length for loop and tie the twine string on the wreath. Where you tie the twine will orient the design either to the bottom or off to one side.
Step 5: You're Done! Pat yourself on the back for making a beautiful ornament to keep or give to someone special as a gift! |
